#2. Build an army of Advocates — Gather fellow believers who believe in what you are trying to achieve.
- Choose influencers.
- Welcome breakaway champions.
- Discover disruptors.
- Attract contrarians.
You need an army of change to achieve anything great, so surround yourself with people who lust for being different.
#3. Create a Direct Line of Sight — Make sure that each person on your team understands exactly what they must do to deliver the intent of the organization’s strategic game plan.
Each team member must do what the strategy of the organization says.
Determine the new roles that must be performed and the current ones that must be given up.
#4. Execute. Execute. Execute — Find new ways to execute the strategy of the business more effectively.
“Cleanse the Inside” of friction that prevents the flawless delivery of your products and services.
Recruit “Human Being Lovers”.
Focus on the frontline. Discover what prevents them from doing their job the way they want to do it and FIX IT!
#5. Choose your mentor (wisely) — Look for an MBA—“Master of Business ACHIEVEMENT”.
Find more than one.
Your journey is likely to be complicated so you need as many perspectives as you can muster.
